Simpson College – Adjunct Instructors

Simpson College is accepting applications for adjunct instructors to teach:

Education – Fall 2017; Educ 300 Reading and Language Arts Education and Practicum (PK through Middle School), includes two sections of the course and practicum supervision (10 credits), course meets during the day on Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30-1:00, instructor must hold a master’s degree and have education/experience in teaching reading and language arts in an elementary education setting
Spring 2018; Educ 222 Assessment, Planning, and Teaching (2 credits), course meets during the day on Mondays and Wednesdays 11:30-12:30, instructor must hold a master’s degree and have successful teaching experience in a PK-12 school setting

Candidates for the positions must demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching and a willingness to engage students in scholarship, research and/or creative work; should hold a minimum of Master’s Degree (Ph.D. preferred) in their discipline, with college level teaching experience helpful.
